Ultra Stupidity

This past week has been interesting. The first part was fine, I was a little tired because I didn't get a day off. That is really annoying, everyone else gets a day off but me. On Saturday, my day off, I had to put up the lights on the church with the youth. It took us 4 hours, 4 HOURS! That was waste of a Saturday. Then on Sunday I have to work a whole day between church and youth. I would love to wake up on a Sunday and just go to church, not to work. Anyhow...
The week was going pretty well up to Thursday. On Thursday my principal informed us that the last day before Christmas break is a WHOLE DAY! Needless to say there was much nashing of teeth and anger from the teachers. One of the teachers was so upset by this she called one the school board members to complain. This, in turn, caused a chain reaction that all the school board members were called and they had a conference call to discuss the problem. In the end the decided to go to a half day. Then on Friday the principal was in the foulest mood because he was overturned. He was mad the whole day. Which was so wonderful, BLAH!
Then it gets better.... Friday night was our faculty Christmas party. I rode with the 5/6th grade teacher and her husband. The entire way out to the restaurant was us whining and complaining about all the crappy things that have happened this school year. But once we got to dinner things were good.
The 7/8th grade teacher gave every "family" (meaning every family and me) a jar of honey. I got up to pay for my meal and when I came back to the table to get mine someone at the restaurant had stolen it. The pastors wife, Cindy saw the guy do it. She was trying to get up the nerve to go get in back from the guy. And when she was explaining who did it she would say, "Third pew to the left" How funny is that? Well finally she told her husband, the pastor, and he went over to the guy and asked for it. And you know what he said? "I was just looking at it." HE HAD IT IN HIS COAT, he was hiding it. So I got it back. Then when I got out of the car when we got back to the house the glass jar slid out of the car and smashed on the cement garage. So after all the trouble it broke and no honey. I thought it was quite funny when it broke. Because really, when do I ever use honey?
I'm so excited to go home next week. Next Saturday I will be home in BEAUTIFUL IDAHO! Where better to go for Christmas? :) I think my grandma Bentley has rubbed off on me, gotta love Idaho. Well, I do anyhow.
Tonight I gave my friend Kyle Love a call. I hadn't talked to him in at least a year. He is getting married! I was shocked. I was really glad to talk to him but it was weird. He didn't seem to really care to talk to me. But I think we might get together while I'm home next. I hope so, he was one of my best friends in high school. It would be really sad to lose him forever. But I am keeping hopeful about the situation.
