Birthday

Wednesday is two of my favorite people's birthday, Julianna and Kalli. I have a gift for one on them, its Kalli. (No shock there.) I have become the aunt that totally spoils her neice. She is such a miracle baby I feel like I shuld get her stuff, plus I know Dotty and Dave can't afford a lot, especially since they just bought a new house. Saturday we are having a pool party at the Hancock's for the big First Birthday. That should be fun.

The past two weeks have been really busy. I worked for my sister at the downtown studio for her Curtain Call Club day camp. We put on The Wizard of Oz, we put together a show in two weeks. It was pretty crazy. Most of the kids do a really good job, but there are always a few that try your patience. But all in all it was a good show, and the parents enjoyed it, which is always the goal. I will help out again for the two week camp next month.

I'm still looking for a job. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do if I don't get a job teaching for next fall. I can sub, but thats not always very steady. I'm sure I will find something, but I'm just not sure what. So, I'm a little stressed, but I will be ok.

One crazy week

This past week has been a busy one. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it all either. I went from being dead against taking another call somewhere because I didn't want to move again to being open to the idea. I never thought of myself as a flighty person before, but these past few years I don't seem settled at all.

I went over to the Lutheran school in Nampa to talk to thier principal about a possible job there next school year. I ended up running into a teacher I knew there and she was not encouraging at all. Basically, if I worked there I would have to rent a box to live in because thats all I could afford. So after that I decided that public school was calling my name. Then Saturday morning, on my way out the door I recieved a phone call from Hope Lutheran in Idaho Falls. They want to interview me for a two part job, half time 4th grade and half time youth director. If she had offered me anything other than that I would probably have said no thanks, but I think that would be a great opportunity. So now I'm not sure how I feel. I.F. is way over in Eastern Idaho. I don't have much information about the specifics of the job as of now but I'm really thinking it over. I really want to talk to someone about it, but I'm not sure who.

Other than "job hunting" I have been busy with other stuff too. SAturday was DAA Dance recital. So a lot of this week I was running around helping Dotty get everything ready to go. Which included packaging flowers, watching Kalli, going to Costco, selling tickets, and organizing various things. I also had to try to move some stuff into the Nampa house where I'm staying now. Which would be much easier if it still wasn't full of my parents stuff.

Some first week of the summer. Oh yeah, I'm having boy troubles again and its not with the one you think. :) great....

Here is a super cute picture of Kalli Paige Hancock.
